11 Month Birthday!

Happy celebration of 11 months of living, Mackenzie!! Mommy is so excited at all the stuff that you have learned in this short amount of time! That being said, you get into everything too but I wouldn't have it any other way :D I love you!!

Weight Loss

I'm very proud to say that I'm finally down to my pre-pregnancy weight!! I've been sort of avoiding scales for a while but today I stepped on one and got super excited! With that being said, there's still 60 more lbs to go before I'm down to a healthy (IMO) weight. My goal is to end up somewhere between 150-160 which will seem tiny to anyone who has only known me for the past 2 years but just wait-the new me is on the horizon!!

A Mama's Thoughts

Well that time of year has come: my baby girl's 1st Christmas!!! I can't wait to see her face when she realizes that all those pretty gift-wrapped boxes are for her :) Like most small kids, she'll probably play with the wrapping paper instead of the toys! I can't believe that we've already reached this point in her life and that she'll be 1 next month. I still reminisce on the 1st time I saw/held/nursed her and now I have an almost-walking, talking 11-month-old (in 5 days)! She never ceases to amaze me with all her new discoveries and everything she knows. I'm blessed to call myself her mother :)
